All food service establishments that serve or sell food to the public must obtain a license and comply with the Iowa Food Code.
These facilities include restaurants, grocery stores, convenience stores, bars, liquor stores, hotels, motels, mobile food units, and temporary food vendors. Pottawattamie County Inspections are conducted by the Iowa Department of Inspections and Appeals.
