The Pottawattamie County Board of Supervisors will host its next town hall meeting in Carson, Iowa, on Wednesday, November 5, from 6:30 to 8:30 P.M. The meeting will take place at the Carson Community Center, 316 S Commercial Street, and is open to all residents.
These countywide town halls are part of an ongoing effort to make county government more accessible and transparent. The informal format provides residents an opportunity to hear updates directly from county leaders and department representatives, ask questions, and learn more about the programs and services available throughout Pottawattamie County.
“We want to make sure every resident, no matter where they live in the county, has the chance to connect with their local government,” said Scott Belt, Chairperson of the Pottawattamie County Board of Supervisors. “Rotating these meetings around the county allows us to meet people where they are and continue building strong relationships with our rural communities.”
Several county departments will share brief presentations and updates, followed by an open question-and-answer session. No formal deliberation or action will take place.
The Board plans to continue hosting similar events in communities across the county to encourage ongoing dialogue and engagement.
