A longtime Pottawattamie County holiday tradition is getting a new look this year.
Supporters of Shop with the Sheriff can show their support, and sport some festive holiday apparel, through a new fundraiser launching Wednesday, October 7. Proceeds from the online apparel store will directly support Shop with the Sheriff and help continue a program that serves at least 50 local children each year.
The fundraiser features a holiday-themed Shop with the Sheriff design and will be available on T-shirts, long-sleeve shirts, crewneck sweatshirts and hooded sweatshirts, with options in both adult and youth sizes.

The online store will remain open through Wednesday, October 21. Orders will be ready for pickup at Anytime Tees or shipping beginning Wednesday, November 4.
For nearly three decades, Shop with the Sheriff has helped make the holiday season brighter for children throughout Pottawattamie County. The program pairs local children with members of the Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Office for a holiday shopping experience that helps provide winter clothing, shoes, coats and gifts.
Shop with the Sheriff is funded entirely through community support, with donations and fundraisers throughout the year helping ensure the program can continue serving local children and families.
“Our first ever Shop with the Sheriff apparel fundraiser represents so much more than festive apparel,” adds Rikayla Champlin, Senior Jail Administrative Assistant. “By supporting this, you’re showing up for the children and families in our community, spreading kindness, and reminding them they are supported by their neighbors. Every purchase helps us continue the work of bringing hope, joy, and a little extra support to local families when they need it most.”
Community members can order Shop with the Sheriff apparel online beginning October 7. All orders must be placed by 11:59 pm on October 21.
