Due to the removal of Mr. Scott Belt from the Pottawattamie County Board of Supervisors, a permanent vacancy exists on the Board. This unexpired term of office ends on December 31, 2026.

Those interested in applying for this seat on the Board of Supervisors should submit a letter of intent that includes reasons for interest in the position, qualifications, and relevant experience that may include community involvement, public service, or leadership roles. All applicants must be residents of Pottawattamie County. 

Please send letters of intent to [email protected] or deliver in person to the front security desk of the Pottawattamie County Courthouse. The deadline to submit letters of intent is 4:30 pm on Friday, December 12, 2025.
