Pottawattamie County's Application Process
Thank you for your interest in employment with Pottawattamie County. To apply, visit our job openings page and click on the job title you are interested in and click the "Apply" link. If there is no "Apply" link, please see the job posting for instructions on how to apply.
If this is the first time you are applying using our online job application, you will need to create an account and select a Username and Password. If you need to amend or correct an application that has been submitted, you will need to submit a second application before the filing deadline. If you submit more than one copy of an application for a single job posting, your last application filed will be processed.
After you submit your application for a position, you will receive an email confirming that we have received your application from email@example.com.
Note: Email will be the County's main method to communicate with you about the status of the position you applied for.
You may choose to unsubscribe from receiving Job Application emails, emails that provide you with your qualification status for each vacancy applied for. If you do so, you will need to log into your GovernmentJobs.com account and view your Notices or click "Applications" and "History" under the vacancy of interest to check your status. Please check this frequently if you choose to remain unsubscribed. To subscribe again - log into your account and enable Job Application emails.
