Pottawattamie Conservation Statement on COVID-19

Posted March 14, 2020

Pottawattamie Conservation staff members are taking the necessary precautions to keep our indoor environments clean and safe for public use. Precautions include thoroughly and frequently disinfecting common touchpoints including handles, counter spaces, exhibits, railings, and bathroom areas among other surfaces.

The best prevention against contagious illness is to avoid being exposed. A critical component of exposure avoidance is utilizing sound hygienic practices while avoiding those displaying symptoms. Please review the adjacent flyer which further details measures you can take to prevent exposure to and spread of COVID-19.

Pottawattamie Conservation staff members understand that this is a stressful time for many, and we’d like to remind everyone that outdoor physical activity is a great way to reduce stress levels, calm your mind, and enjoy an otherwise stressful period. We’ll see you on the trails.
