New County Website Premier

It took roughly 9 months to dream up and implement what we wanted, and now the site is live for the citizens of Pottawattamie County (as of May 14, 2020)!
The primary goals determined by the Web Committee were these:
- Make services easy to find and the primary focus through the use of Search
- Remove the need to know what department offers what service
- Include an employee portal as part of the site
- Make the Board of Supervisor's Meeting Videos available
- Make content editing easy for each department, so content stays fresh
We utililized the skills of Chris Ruhaak at Heartland Photos & Design, Inc. for many of the images used on the site. He did an excellent job!
