Laptop Donation to Junior Jacket Robotics Program

The Pottawattamie County IT Department offers computer equipment for donation periodically. If your organization should have a need, please don't hesitate to check in with us. This time the Junior Jacket Robotics Program was the recipient of five laptops.
About the Jr Jacket Robotics Program
Jr Jacket Robotics is a 501c3 organization that was founded in 2016. Their program support both boys and girls in grades 6th-8th that are interested in S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). Their program gives the student the opportunity to get excited and be inspired by hands-on STEM learning through the designing, building and programming through VEX Robotics. Their program also competes at a number of tournaments in Nebraska, Iowa and South Dakota throughout the school year. Jr Jacket Robotics does not charge any fees to the students. Their program is kept sustainable through donations and fundraisers held throughout the year.
