DONORS CAN MAKE A BIGGER IMPACT WITH 20% #GIVINGTUESDAY712 MATCH FROM THE PCCF

Donations made to the Pottawattamie Conservation Foundation through Share Omaha will be matched 20% by the Pottawattamie County Community Foundation.

Council Bluffs, IA: Giving Tuesday on November 30th is the biggest giving day in the world, and thanks to the Pottawattamie County Community Foundation (PCCF), donors can increase their gift to nonprofits like the Pottawattamie Conservation Foundation by 20%.

In order to receive the match, donors must give online by November 30th at shareomaha.com and use code PCCF20 while checking out. Only PCCF-endowed nonprofits located in southwestern Iowa, like the Pottawattamie Conservation Foundation, are eligible.

Gifts made on Giving Tuesday to the Pottawattamie Conservation Foundation help fund land stewardship projects, environmental education, and park improvements so that wildlife and visitors can enjoy Pottawattamie Conservation's beautiful natural areas for generations to come.

“By giving on November 30th donors protect wildlife and precious public land like Hitchcock Nature Center and Arrowhead, Botna Bend, Narrows River and Old Town Park,” Pottawattamie Conservation Foundation president Kelli O’Brien said. “We are so grateful for the Pottawattamie County Community Foundation’s generous support, which allows our community to make an even bigger impact.”

Donors are also invited to purchase items on the Pottawattamie Conservation Foundation’s Amazon Smile wish list, such as an eagle skull replica or archery bow for education programming. A full list of items can be found on the foundation’s Share Omaha profile here.
